Pastor Collar received his theological training at Tyndale Bible College and Seminary. Following six years of ministry at St. George Baptist Church in St.George, Ontario, he was called to provide pastoral leadership to the Bilberry Creek Baptist Church family on March 31, 1985.

Don is married to Cathy and his son Brad and daughter-in-law Michelle Anne and new grandson Elijah are active members of this growing congregation.  

• In addition to his current responsibilities as Lead Pastor, Pastor Collar :
• Is Chaplain for the Orleans Legion Branch 763;
• served as a Canadian Forces' Chaplain  with  33 Canadian Brigade Group from August 1988 through his retirement in March 2011.  
• is chair of the Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard Board of Directors
